The stunning, elegant and off-kilter Cuir Insolite starts with leathery top notes mingled with powdery violet. “Insolite” – meaning “unusual” – is a well-chosen name to describe the spicy, floral and woody accord. The refined floral mid-notes mixed with Arabian jasmine and syringa, move down into soft, slightly vanilla base notes where balsamic and spicy aromas come to the forefront with benzoin tears, styrax resin and white musk.
